Abstract Wild animals are falling increasingly under threat as their habitats being disrupted by human activities and global warming. At the same time, we see wild such wolves actually settling in landscapes. This forces us to rethink how can live together with other living beings, whom share one earth. The contributions this book section be seen attempts do just that. However, these developments also challenge traditional ethical approach towards animals, concisely worded “Let them be”. That falls short current era, which semi-wild, contact zone, liminal recognized. Animals, whether natural or landscapes, all make opportunistic use of sorts resources – including ones. If circumstances change, either due human-made causes, they will enter into new interactions environment survive.
